Add Practical Peripherals (One of Hays' children) to the "Lifetime =
Warranty" scam list.

Ok... So I bought a buncha cardinal modems... and well, eventually, =
they
blow up. So I got 4 sitting on my desk, two are 17 months old, two are
less than 6 months old... And guess what... =20
They want $25/each for shipping and handling for the two older than 1 =
year
-> personally I don't call this much of a warranty... I did 1st class
priority USPS mail to them, insured @ $400, and it was $9.30 to ship... =
Also after reviewing their warranty policy I was given with the modems,
this doesn't show up... But in order to get modems back I either pay it =
or
start a legal battle with four dead modems on my desk..
Just a word to all of you... take that "lifetime warranty" crap with a
grain of salt... They're screwing us in the end..
