Once upon a time Stephen Fisher shaped the electrons to say...
>Uhh.. how did they get registered then? I find it hard to blindly go into
>something that says "FREE 56K UPGRADE" and say that you want the 56k modem
>upgrade and that you will support it, etc. without realizing what you're
>doing. Perhaps they didn't know it went by the name K56Flex??

The problem is when you call many times you get support folks, or business
folks, etc - NOT the technical people who doi things like register for the
upgrades. I've talked to ISPs who wanted to know why we had them listed -
and when I told them X registered they were like "Oh, I didn't know X did
that - sorry."

Every one of the ISPs listed on our site and the official site had to
register.

AND Jack's claim is bogus - because ever if they leave 'yes' check, UNLESS
THE FILL IN THE FIELDS THEY ARE NOT LISTED!

There are two boxes - Name and URL to be put on the web. If either one is
not filled in, even if the box is left as 'yes' - no listing. Period. And
if both are filled out and the check item is 'no' - no listing. Period.

I had a bug early on that would put up a listing if the boxes were filled in
but NO was checked - but I fixed that right off. (I anded when I should have
ored, or vice-versa - I forget...)
