Agreed. I actually have read many RFCs and find them valuable. However,
RFCs are generally framed based upon an expectation that the reader already
has a certain level of knowledge or frame of reference. Knowing as little
as I know about configuring BGP, the RFC is about as helpful to me as the
RFC covering PPP would be to some dial-up customer who was wondering how to
configure the Win 95 stack <g>! None-the-less, I'll go print my very own
copy of the RFC and order the book that's been mentioned previously and see
how much sinks in.
