All that is needed is to wait at most another month when Livingston is
shipping the Lucent modems and code.

The only reason USR is pushing X2 so hard is becuase they have a nice hold
on the consumer market so when they add X2 to those modems they force ISPs
to buy the only device capable of server-side X2, the USR TC, which brings
in even more money for USR.
