Compaq LTE Light

Dear Fellow Portmaster Users,

I have a customer with a Compaq LTE Light laptop with an internal modem
that came with the computer. He is unable to connect to our new PM3.

He is unable to give me any specs on the modem other than it can handle
speeds of 38,400....which I assume then it is a 28.8. Wether it is V.FC,
V.34, or what I am not sure.

Any help, hints, tips, pointers, init strings, would be greatly
appreciated........
