This list sees numerous letters for little enhancements such as this
one, tweaks to existing features, and so on. Rather than deal with
them as individual features, has Livingston considered adding a java
virtual machine (or a TCL interpreter, or something else) to ComOS and
providing hooks into ComOS's operation? Then people could just code
up their own extensions.

I don't know how much memory Java takes, but I read once the core TCL
interpreter is only about 6k of code...
