Is there a rule of thumb for when compression ceases to be useful? i.e.,
if you're talking about T3, it probably takes more time to
compress/uncompress and adds lots of latency compared to just sending the
raw data. But if you wanted to run a "slow" line to a satelite POP, might
compression be beneficial?
