When the manual was written, I don't believe the 2Ei existed. There
was a 2E and 2ER. So saying "Only use this in a 2E" made sense. It it
is simple to print "PM-2E ONLY" on a sticker. A lot simpler and more
direct than "DO NOT USE THIS IN A PM-2ER"
