it has been my experience that "free" means living life on the vendors
terms.

pay, means that you typically get better "overall" support when you look
at the big picture.

id rather pay for better hardware and software developement, service, and
support and GET IT than to wait "extended" periods of time and get a
release like 3.8.2 for FREE.

professionally, i dont think FREE is the right term here. INCLUDED at no
extra charge is pry a better way to phrase it although it is still
lacking in some areas and ahead in some areas.

hopefully the lucent engineers "love" what they do and are bringing forth
better as well as bigger and better in terms of hardware and software.
