One thing I have noticed is that radius does not always give the correct
reason for disconnect. Eg it will report User-Request for just about
anything. We suspected this but did not try to confirm until recently.
After going home one night and unplugging the telco from my office
router at home a few times and then looking at the corresponding
stop records I found User-Request on every one. Lucent thought it
was odd and promised to get back to me about it. Still waiting...
Anyways, this is by location and hunt group. Global is everything..
A few of the locations and hunt groups have rather low traffic.
Others have rather active traffic. I know this is a bit off topic
but does anyone know how to get similiar information from a total
control with a netserver. "set syslog te local7.info" does not
give any errors when the command is executed but also does not
take effect. It would be interesting to compare data from the
two platforms.
