(PM) Off Topic - sign-up for new users

Hi all

Please forgive me for the off-topic post...I'll keep it (reasonably) brief :-)

Until now, we've been using a combo of NT and Linux RedHat boxes with
dialup/authentication taking place on one of the NT boxes, using RAS +
digiboard.

My (second-owner) PM2e30 arrives tomorrow and may provide me with the answer to
a question that's been bothering me for some time, viz. new user online sign-up.

It seems entirely possible, (to my newbie brain anyhow) to create an sql
database on the radius server that authenticates users, that will validate new
users and add them to the radius user database via asp or a perl script.

Am I making sense, and more importantly, has this been implemented by someone
else?

regards
Peter Salvage
