To make a long story short, the PM3 with this "new" PRI cannot
support V.90 connections very well. From some locations with some V.90
modems, I am able to make a V.90 connection. But even in this case, I
always get slower connect speeds than I do going into a identically
configured PM3 sitting beside it in the same POP or to any other PM3 on my
network.
>From other locations, I cannot get a V.90 modem to connect to this PRI,
I have to force V.34 and of course it works fine with V.34 connections
always.
I'll stop here and not write a book. Config info below.
I have searched the archives and seen references to padding and levels.
Has anyone ran into something similar? Any recommendations?
Any good tools out there to help shed light?
