3Com uses TI DSPs on the Sportster line.
TI has an agreement with 3Com to sell the TI DSPs to modem makers along
with 3Com modem firmware.
The problem is that these modems can't take normal 3Com Sportster firmware
updates, so you need to depend on updates from the manufacturer.
