We are trying to use a digital phone switch supplying BRI to a courier =
I-ISDN V.everything modem which is connected to a 310e WebRamp connected =
to a LAN all to access our PM3 running ComOS 3.8.2+. We use the 3com =
because it requires no SPIDS. The phone switch is a Cortelco Millenium =
fed by a PRI. You can program its Digital Line Cards for data interface =
to BRI. The modem hits one out of six tries. And it doesn't do 128k =
easy. Does anybody have experience with this type setup? Or does anyone =
know of another T/A or ISDN modem that does not need SPID numbers to do =
ISDN?

1.. Lucent tech sup watching the connection says "not me!"
2.. Cortelco modems in to the switch and says "not me!"
3.. WebRamp says "?who can you get there to call you back besides =
sales?"
4.. 3com tech gets me connected via single channel [but not =
128k.]and not using the ramp and only if there are no active sunspots =
and if you hold your mouth just right.
5.. Bill Gates hasn't returned my call.
