I just wanted to thank everyone for their input and advice on this. The
customer's new laptop should be here soon, so we'll see what happens.
It obviously looks like we need to get some kind of a waiver drafted up,
and have customers sign it before we work on their machines. Of course
I'm sure we'd still be obligated to replace a dropped laptop, even with
a waiver, but at least we would be protected from other things.
