If I remember correctly someone had mentioned a peice of equipment that
would allow you to convert regular phone lines to PRI?

I'm trying to find a solution to put a POP in an area that does not
currently offer PRI's by any of the telco's that service it. Currently
theres ~60 POTS lines with USR Sportsters, a PM2, and some ChsaeIOLAN..
It's much better than the Worldgroup servers that were used before I took
all this spare old stuff up there and replaced it..(in the sticks...
yeehaaww!!) :P But since it's kind of far away and this setup has definite
flaws for remote management, troubleshooting, and repair. (such as.. Line
#6 in the hunt has a crapped out modem.. oh joy.. lets spend 4 hours travel
time and 15 minutes work time of the day to replace a modem.. :P) I want to
offer reliable access using a PM3 but am not sure what options I have. Any
suggestions?

I was thinking maybe of just using a Channelized T1 if that was available,
but I haven't checked that avenue yet. But isn't it true that to offer ISDN
service a CT1 won't fit the bill, it will only allow for v.90/K56Flex? I
don't think they even have ISDN service period up in that area yet.. which
would make a NOW decision to ditch ISDN support viable, but I'm trying to
look ahead a little.

And just when I was starting to take PRI availablity for granted since
we've got 2 or 3 carriers we can choose from in our current local area...

Thanks In Advance,
Jon
