Hello Everybody,

This may seem to be very primitive question but for me this is a big hurdle
and i am looking for some help.

We are planning to start an ISP business in Kathmandu and I am configuring
an Internet Server for this. After series of discussion, we have decided to
use Linux platform for the server and LIVINGSTON PORTMASTER for the router.
We are planning to provide Internet access to our Dial-up clients using
VSAT connection to our upper ISP.

Can anyone suggest me from which point shall i start (regarding Routers)?
Do i need Intergrated Access Server only or i need IRX Router also. And how
can i connect them together and configure. Can anyone recommend me some
technical ideas and documents, Networking ideas, and ideas about CSU/DSU
things we need and how to connect Portmaster with our Internet Server and
the VSAT Indoor Unit (IDU)?

Any help and suggestion will save my life a lot.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Manohar
