(PM) MCPPP

Hello All,

I have a strange problem with our PM3s and MCPPP.

Here's are config....

10 PM3s all running 3.8.2
4MB RAM in each box
All have the same end-point descrim
All on the same class c network
We run OSPF
Main Router is a Cisco
OSPF has been working fine

Now this is what happens....an ISDN customer will call and land a channel
on two different boxes. All works well for some period of time.

When I do a sh mcppp on any of the boxes all the neighbors and the peers
that I expect to see are there and appear well behaved. I even see the v0
when I do a sh ses.

At some point the customer will report that they can no longer route. (They
have a static IP) We try to ping them from the box they are on and the link
appears dead.

Now if we simply pick any box and do a sh mcppp we discover that the box
only sees a few of the neighbors. Lets say that box 1 sees box 8, 9 and
10. We go to box 2 and it sees all the other boxes including box 1. (I'm
not sure if the sh ses will still show the v0 or not)

We check a few of the other boxes and there does not seem to be any pattern
on which boxes can see which others, etc.

Now after a while everything magically goes back to normal, and if the
customer drops and reconnects they get back on fine.

I have reported this to Lucent and they have escalated.

Has anyone encountered this?

Thanks
Scott
