I'm also experiencing ALOT of disconnects and retrain problems. Our major
source of customer turn over is Lucent's shotty modem code. I've tried
everything from changing modems, changing phone lines (inside and outside),
using limiting strings, changing computers, changing Phone companies at the
server end, changing from CT-1 to PRI and the only thing that works is
connecting to a server that isn't using shotty Lucent modem code.
Good thing I'm in good mental heath.....otherwise I'd be at Lucent's main
office with a shotgun. Then again with this amount of customer turn over it
probably won't be long until I crack. = )

Hi,

For us the disconnects are also the main problem with the PM3.
Disconnects happen with all type of modems and this now
since end December 98 when 3.8.2 was released. We got
NO FIX from Lucent up to now.

We need to see an improvement in modem code very soon!

Does anybody know if V.110 will be supported on the existing 56k
modem cards soon?
