That is very very very deceiving... In 3 months that's all that was done?
I don't complain alot on the list but if this is true, I definitly lost my
faith in Lucent. I mean how can that be? One of the biggest telecom
company in the world and a few thousand employees and all they can come up
with in three months is "nothing". All of that under the heavy fire of the
list...
I have clients with modem made with Lucent chipsets and I how myself a
PCMCIA modem with a Lucent chipset and they can't even connect decently to
the PM3 whithout any advanced twitching. The client turns away to my only
competitor wich uses Cisco hardware and bang, it work without any
modification/upgrades. We had something solid with the k56flex, why can't
we have the same with v90 after 8 months. I cannot begin to count the
number of hours I spent explaining the same story and helping the client
upgrade his firmware. All that time was spent because of my faith, but now
it's gone. I will strongly reconsider my next RAS to enter here. This
used to be a nobrainer before... PM3 after PM3 after PM3.
Unless however the problem is not with the modem code but with the PM3
handling of my T1s but I doudt it.
I'll go take a nap now to calm down...
