We do deal with it - not very much unlike what you are doing. Every
day. As a matter of fact, my company probably deals with it better than
any of our local competitors can.
That doesn't change the fact that the PM3's modem code (or more
specifically, its ability to deal with varying environments especially
on the Telco end) is still crappy.
Unlike you, I do not think I am powerless over these (or most) things.
I at the very least would want to know what Livingston is doing about it
and whether I need to be looking elsewhere for a RAS.
This is from somebody that's had PM3's since Jan 1997 and have stuck
faithly with Livingston all these time. I am just losing my faith quickly.
I am not alone.
