This doesn't even mention V.90 and still talks about x2 and v.FC. I
suspect it's rather dated. Still some good information though, but I'd
recommend http://www.808hi.com/56k/ instead.

Have you tried limiting the maximum connect rate first?

This is identical to the Netgear RT328. I've used both and works fine
on our PM3's with PRI's. I believe there is a bug with the RT328 in CT1
installations. In that case, you might have to put in "ppp lcp bacp off"
in the command line.
