Have you updated to version 5.39 of the LT winmodem firmware?
Most of the LTs out there came with pre standard v.90 code. We see 49333
connects daily from customers with LT winmodems. The old code (5.20 and
older) won't connect at all though.

As folks might have suspected, not much survives except roaches,
and they don't carry large enough packets fast enough...
