I am having trouble with a user who is using a USR/3com v.90. He is having
a ton of CRC errors, about one a second while sending/receiving data. He is
also having a ton of renegotions/retrains which I was able to bring down by
limiting the connect speed, but even at 28.8 the CRC errors are still a
problem. Could somebody educate me a bit about how I should be trouble
shooting CRC errors.
P.S.
He says that his computer crashed and when he reset it up, the erros started
happening. If this is true I guess it eliminates the line.
