Just to save some of you the trouble of looking up the report, it is
very old and is mostly BS anyway.

The ComOS version was 3.2.7C3 (I think they mean 3.7.2C3 here) and the
AS5300 was tested with the Microcom modems (not MICA).

It probably means that sometime in early 1998 the MAX6000 outperformed
the AS5300 and the PM3. Pretty meaningless today.
