Okay so there is a bit cost. 8-) I got a bad description regarding B8Zs a
couple years ago and kept hanging on to that...
So anyway... the ANSWER IS!!! Get B8ZS for your portmaseter 3 and youll get
better service.
:If you use ISDN PRI access, then you must use B8ZS for clear-channel data,
:and that access link will not have the RBS impairment. But even then,
:V.90 calls to your PortMaster might traverse multiple hops with RBS.
This is why I equated AMI/D4 T1 versus PRI with B8ZS as being bit robbed,
because of the need to have a clear channel for PRI.
