A week or so back a guy from Ericsson offered me a Tigris to test. :-)
I explained to him that I wasn't an ISP. That I'd be happy to accept the
offer, as long as he understood I don't have any T1/PRI lines so I could
only test the OS usability and their software. He never replied.
I've seen them, and they seem to be ok. I haven't seen them since
Ericsson bought them - this was the ACC Tigris, but I doubt there are many
changes.
They had some major teething troubles a while back that a few people on
inet-access were bitching about. But I think they have it mostly ironed
out at this point. It doesn't have the growth potential of a PM-4, it
is more a peer with the TNT in design age than a PM-4 or CVX-1800.
I was midly surprise that the CVX-1800 wasn't included in the testing.
