(PM) USR Win Modem

I'm having difficulty getting a "USR 56k Win Int" modem to connect at
speeds over 26400. This particular modem is an internal PCI modem. The
customer has already downloaded and installed the most current drivers for
this modem. I have a PM-3 running ComOs 3.8.2. Any suggestions for this
particular modem?

I went through the archives and recent mailings but only found info on the
Lucent Win LT modems, nothing on the USR version.
