PM2 and analog modems do not equal PM3s and digital modems. I am comparing
the results of my PM3s to what others have reported for Ascends and Ciscos
which *report* about 95% normal termination... I have no idea how you
would get such info reliably out of a PM2 and an external modem. Also, a
sample of 255 is relativly small. My stats are based on over 100,000
calls across a few weeks. If more than 1 out of 10 sessions are getting
booted because of a bad connection, I would call that a problem.... How
much of that 10% is a client modem and PM3 has yet to be determined.. But
based on what other people have told me about their Ciscos and Ascends,
they do seem to perform better.
