You're not the only one! We've been doing some timing tests down here
with the phone company and it appears the PM3's timings are wrong on
round trips. About 12 to 18ms longer than on any other 56k equipment.
This may be part of the problem coz its stuffing the renegotiation
timings.
at any rate, there is new modem code coming soon - its been changing
every day lately but we're first in line to try it once it stabalises a
bit. But yes, livingston appear very slow to do anything (powered by
JAVA no doubt :))
