This trash is getting pretty old. The stats are not directly
comparable between platforms. The stats are not calculated in the same
manner. Keep in mind that the abnormal stats include anything that cannot
finish a connect. Including people calling with a voice phone, broken
modems calling, noise on the line preventing connect, whatever. Do the
Ascend units count it this way? Until you know if you are comparing
appless to rocks there is not much to say. 5%, come on, we are not
talking random disconnects here, but random disconnects, failed calls,
voice calls, dropping in the middle of neg...

As folks might have suspected, not much survives except roaches,
and they don't carry large enough packets fast enough...
