Okay, changed quite a bit of stuff around... but it /appears/ that the
problem is getting info from the RADIUS server. I added a local user to the
portmaster and that logged in no sweat. I have a very basic (for testing
reasons) users file that will log in anybody with an account on that compuer
with a PPP connection.

DEFAULT Auth-Type = System
Service-Type = Framed-User,
Framed-Protocol = PPP,

I /know/ I entered legit username and passwords so I have no idea whats
going on. I still don't know what "pw_recv:Digest mismatch" in the debug
mode means =) .
