ALL:

Just had a call back on a non-critical problem in less than 24 hours. The
Livingston rep was knowlegable, patient and we have a clarification and
solution in less than 1/2 an hour! Great work Livingston!

For the record here, the Livingston PM2 (I am just discussing PM2's here,
NOT PM3's) can only do load-balancing on the Async ports but can do either
load-balancing OR MP on the ISDN card. The way you force one or the other is ;

set <location name> multi on *** Use MP
set <location name> multi off *** Use load-balancing

This is important as I had interpreted this parameter as 'use more than one
connection yes/no' but this is not the case. The reason this is important is
that if you want to connect a PM2 with external TA to a PM2 ISDN card or PM3
PRI/CT1, you must use load-balancing, not MP because the PM2 with external
TA is not capable MP on serial ports.
