I'm beginning to think there is some underlying reason why only seven
digits are sent. We only get 7 from TCG on our PRIs, we only get 7 on our
Ameritech BRIs, and we only get 7 from our "in-house" CLEC. In the latter
case the switch guy and I sat down for a good hour or so trying to figure
out a way to convince the switch to send all ten digits, and we couldn't
find anything.
For what it's worth we have Netgears calling our MichTel lines and getting
two channels just fine, although I haven't checked to see what the PM3s
are sending back to the Neatgear. Of course we've been calling Ameritech
every day for weeks now making sure our NPA-NXXs are correctly 7- and
10-digit dialable from all over Ameritech land.. :)
