I don't know if this is the reason 'why' but I have found that the
"Caller-Station-Id" appears only with my ISDN modem users who are receiving
their IP addresses via the PM's DHCP. These users have no entry in the
./raddb/users file and use the default Unix password verification. For my
ISDN router users who have assigned subnets in the DNS and in the
./raddb/users file, this line does not appear. I may try putting an entry
in ./raddb/users for one of my modem users and see what happens. Will let
you know.

I too am interested in utilities for the 'detail' file. I just
finished writing my own Visual Basic application which parses the file data
and writes a new file with each user section in comma-delimited record
format. With this new file I am able to drop it into Excel and perform
basic sorts and queries. If anyone is interested, let me know directly and
I'll send it to you. Unless I find something, I will be writing another
application that will sort the record data and perform various calculations
to provide some basic port usage stats as well as session and total usage
time, session and total data in/out, etc. at a per user level.
