Network hardwired for PPP, dest IP is the ether0 of the other unit. Really
very simple. Are you sure you had a cross-over serial cable in there and
not a straight-through? (TX-RX, not TX-TX in other words)

You realize that will require NAT on the IRX to do the translation for the
other machines. Which won't be in the IRX until ComOS 3.9 is released.
