We have Lucent WaveLAN; quite cheap and reliable product...uses DSSS and acts as a bridge.
All the stuff is based on a PC-card which could be plugged into the bridge device, into
PCMCIA slots of PCs or on an ISA adapter.

The new WaveLAN Turbo stuff is out there as well...up to 10Mbps in DSSS according to IEEE.
You may then connect the bridge your LAN. Donīt forget to firewall then ;-)
