(PM) PM3 and directory number

While tinkering with this D-Link box I have here, I found that to get BACP
to work, I had to set the same directory number for all the ports on the
chasis, Ie: "set all directory XXXYYYZZZZ" These are PM3s with PRIs from a
5ess, ESF, B8ZS, ComOS 3.8.2. There is only one telephone number for all 4 of
our PRIs.

Is this the right thing to do? Would doing this break anything else?

Everything started working, but not reliably. Both connections would just
drop, without any warning, in the middles of a file transfer.
