I think it is. I thought one of the rewards of living in production
on the bleeding edge of open beta ComOS was that I would have the
absolute latest modem code available at any given time. Now I learn
that I've shot myself in the foot by choosing the beta for some desirable-
but-not-absolutely-essential feature that we are now relying upon.
