As of ComOS 3.9, you could use IPSec to do this, but it's still in beta.
A good alternative to IPSec is the ssh toolkit:

http://www.ssh.fi

At it's most basic level it provides encrypted versions of the rlogin,
rcp, etc. However, you can also get it to encrypt streams belonging to
other applications such as ftp, pop3 and (I think) nfs.
