Get a LT winmodem for them.

Think about it this way... Motorola has pulled out of the modem market.
Originally they were NOT going to support v.90, but I guess too many
complaints made them back-pedal and thus new firmware/drivers were
developed.

I've had a computer store sell a few a these and they'll connect up, but
8\ it's just not reliable.
