For a few days bracketing last weekend, we had our disconnect rate
shoot up on all our 16 access numbers from 3 telcos terminating on
modems in 4 physical POPs. Both analog and digital (PM3) services
were involved, and the telcos included two different ILECs.

The only thing I can think of that could cause this is some kind of
warble in the common clock source used for digital clocking on the
telco network. Any other ideas?
