(PM) Average bandwidth per dial-up port...

What is a good figure for the average amount of Internet (not local
POP3/SMTP/HTTP) bandwidth needed per dial-up port? For example...if you had
a full T-1 (1.54Mbps) for your SMTP/FTP/HTTP servers so that any other
bandwidth (additional T-1s) would only be used for traffic to/from your
dial-up ports, how much bandwidth would you need to service say 1,000 ports?
Or, how many dial-up ports can you comfortably put against one T-1 if all
that T-1 is servicing is those ports?
