Does the Max handle poor phone line conditions and cheap modems better? We
are in a small town in Arkansas (pop 10,000-12,000) with only a single
telco office. A new competitor (two blocks away, we are both within 3
blocks of the telco) just started and I've had several customers jump ship
and claim that they don't get disconnected with the new guy like they did
with us. No ISDN offered here so we both have CT1. The main difference is
he's using a Max.
