Different modems will connect better with different NAS's. We lost 10% of
our customers to ISP's running Max, Cisco, USR & others. The computer
manufacturers sending these systems out with $12 modems are just telling
their customer that it is the ISP's fault and telling them to get a
different ISP. {Easy for them to say}
Lucent claims that we will see new modem code THIS WEEK, and I have heard a
few good stories about it.
