I have several customers with these Compaq/Rockwell HCF modems and for many
of them the Upgrade to 3.8.2c2 either broke or made their connection worse.
Does anyone have a clue as to what to do with these pieces of junk?
Besides toss them and put a REAL modem in it's place.
Even with the latest Compaq - Softpaq installed, many of them cannot connect.
I have seen a few less tech support calls for the USR & LT Win-modems.
