Yes, it is a matter of modifying the CCL scripts. The BBEdit editor (the
free BBEdit Lite is enough) is good for this task, since it leaves the file
creator and type alone when resaving the file. [Make a Finder copy of the
script, name as desired, then open the copy in BBEdit (you have to select
the "All" files for the scripts to be visible).

I have an alias to the Modem Scripts folder in my BBEdit folder, to
simplify navigation in the Open dialog.

But note: the CCL script may "fool" you. Some of Apple's scripts turn on
a bunch of conditions in the initial INIT string, then if that doesn't get
an OK, they remove conditions until they do get an OK. That allows one
script to work for multiple models, but makes the scripts even more
confusing than the CCL language already forces them to be.

Also, the CCL scripts from Apple, and most of the "official" scripts from
other vendors, take into account the needs of Apple Remote Access...some of
which cause problems for PPP purposes. One result is a rather slow
disconnect process from some of the Global Village official scripts (and
unofficial--fast disconnecting--scripts from Clint Kraft of GV support, who
writes just what is needed for PPP).
