I have a different question about modem debugging. With debug mdp-max
on, I got this:

M33: mdp2_psm: RX 31200 TX 50666 ret 1 ren 23
M33: mdp2_psm: RX 31200 TX 50666 ret 1 ren 24
M33: mdp2_psm: RX 31200 TX 53333 ret 1 ren 24 <--**
M33: mdp2_psm: RX 31200 TX 53333 ret 1 ren 25

On the indicated line, the TX speed changed, but neither the retrain
count nor renegotiation count increased. How does that happen?
