(PMOD) Acer Aspire Modems

Has anyone had any luck getting the Acer Aspire series of computers
connected with ComOS 3.8.2c2? We just upgraded last night from 3.8.2 to
3.8.2c2 and have had a couple people with these computers call us with
problems getting connected.

In one case, the user couldn't connect with any init string or commas (we
tried +MS=V34 and +MS=V90,,,,,41333). But he can connect without anything
at all! (But not reliably, disconnections are still going to be a problem).

Here are the results of the More Info from the Modem Control Panel.

I know that there is an update available for this, but since the computer
is so vague about which modem it is, I'm hesitant to DL an upgrade from
Acer. Can anyone suggest which file to use (please provide an exact URL).
