I have a user here with one of these modems, that only connects at around
28800 tops, but then spirals down to 16800 or worse still 9600 be he
disconnects (CCC).
I was running ComOS 3.9b8, but upgraded to 3.8.2c2 to hopefully resolve it.
I haven't kept up with firmwares for the USR's, so he may be using an older
version, but please bear in mind that he'd be restricted to a non-USA
version as we're in Australia.
